1st Asquith Scout Group
Adventure starts in Asquith.
Camping, hiking, campfires and mates for life. We’re a local Scout Group for young people aged 8 to 25, run by volunteers and led by the kids themselves.
Our Sections
There’s a place for every age
Each Section has a program built for its age group, with more adventure and more responsibility at every step.
Cubs
Ages 8–11
Games, bushcraft, first camps and plenty of mud. Cubs try a bit of everything and discover what they love.

Adventure, service and a social life with purpose. Rovers is Scouting for young adults, run entirely by its members.

More about Rovers →Why Scouts
Learning by doing, outdoors where possible
Scouting gives young people room to try things, get them wrong, laugh about it and try again.
Real adventure
Camps, hikes, paddling and nights around the fire. Skills are learned by using them, not by reading about them.
Youth leading youth
Young people plan the program, lead their own teams and review how it went. Adults guide from the side.
Skills for life
Teamwork, resilience, cooking a decent meal, reading a map. The things that stay useful long after school.
A place to belong
Scouts is open to everyone. Whatever your background or ability, there’s a spot in the circle for you.
